It Was A Stormy Month

The clouds are dissipating and I can see clearly. This month has been filled with storms and chaos. At times I thought I was going to be swept up by the winds, or burned by the fire, or drowned by the tidal waters. But I made it through this month, unscathed, hardened, and ready to venture through another stormy month.

One challenge after the other. That’s what November consisted of. I was required to manage my time through self discipline, to meet project deadlines — boy there was many projects. Three essays, an oral presentation and a short story. Wedged between these projects was moving, Las Vegas and my grandmother becoming very sick. What I am most proud of though, is my commitment to Lone Swing.

Amongst everything, I sill found the time to post on this blog, and I posted more frequently then any month prior. I think this says much about dedication, and that I cannot make excuses as to why I didn’t post anything, or why I didn’t finish writing a short story. If you’re serious enough about anything, then you have the capacity to shut up, stop making excuses and do it. That’s the realization I have come to this month.

Tell me what you learned or experienced this November.
